Upload video using the HEVC and ProRes formats

We’ve added support for two new video formats, HEVC (also known as H.265) and Apple ProRes. These were the only commonly used formats that we didn’t support, so it’s now safe to say that we can handle any video file you may have. The HEVC format provides excellent quality in a much smaller file (roughly 50% smaller files than the commonly used H.264 format), and is used by many new digital cameras and phones (most notably by the iPhone). The Apple ProRes format is widely used by professional video editing apps, such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere. You can now upload both of these formats directly to DPHOTO, and we’ll take care of the transcoding to make sure that everyone can see your video, while also keeping a backup of your video in its original format.
