Upgrading To Google Analytics 4

If you’re a Google Analytics user, you might already be aware that Google is implementing significant changes which require your attention. The existing version of Google Analytics, also known as Universal Analytics, is transitioning to Google Analytics 4. Google requires all users are to upgrade to this new system by the 30th of June, 2023.

We have recently upgraded our Google Analytics integration, allowing you a seamless migration to the new version. The process is simple: all you need to do is input your Google Tag ID into DPHOTO, and you'll start receiving analytic data from your gallery.

Here are the steps to upgrade:

1. Access your Google Analytics account. If you haven't yet upgraded to version 4, you will be prompted and guided through the entire process.
2. Follow these instructions to Find Your Google Tag ID. Usually, the ID start with ‘G-’.
3. Return to your DPHOTO account and navigate to Settings > Gallery > Analytics. Here, replace your old Universal Analytics ID with your new Google Tag ID.

That’s it! Your gallery is now upgraded to Google Analytics 4. You can expect to see data appearing in Google Analytics within the next 24 hours.
